This is a Cognitive Behavioral approach that covers topics and teaches strategies designed to assist the individual to develop healthier coping skills to manage their anger effectively.

Topics include: Events and Cues, Anger Control Plans, The Aggression Cycle, Cognitive Restructuring: The A-B-C-D Model and Thought Stopping, Exploring Beliefs and Negative Self-Talk, Assertiveness Training, Effective Communication, the Conflict Resolution Model, Relaxation and Breathing Techniques, Anger and the Family.
